Configure Report Button for Multiple Nimblr Organizations
This article explains how to configure and troubleshoot the Nimblr Report Button when you have multiple Nimblr organizations associated with a single Microsoft 365 tenant.
Multiple Nimblr organizations can each receive reports from a single Microsoft 365 tenant if the Report Button integration is configured separately in each Nimblr organization portal.
- The system attributes a report to the Nimblr organization where the reporting user is located.
- Multiple tenants for a single Report Button are not supported.
Confirm organization setup:
- Ensure each country/department has a separate Nimblr organization (portal) configured.
Configure the Report Button per Nimblr organization:
- Install/configure the Report Button integration in each Nimblr organization portal you want to receive reports.
- Each Nimblr organization must have its own integration configuration even if all organizations share the same Microsoft 365 tenant.
User-to-organization mapping
- Ensure users are associated with the correct Nimblr organization. The integration determines where to record progress and which organization receives the report based on the organization assignment of the reporting user.
Supported scenarios:
- Multiple Nimblr organizations connected to one Microsoft 365 tenant can each receive reports if each organization has its own Report Button integration configured.
- Organizations may be part of the same partner/reseller — that does not prevent separate Report Button configurations per Nimblr organization.
Limitations to note:
- Multiple tenants for a single Report Button configuration are not supported.
Troubleshooting checklist:
-
Integration present in each Nimblr organization portal
- Verify the Report Button integration is configured and active in every Nimblr organization expected to receive reports.
-
Verify user organization assignment
- Confirm reporting users are assigned to the correct Nimblr organization so reports are recorded in the intended organization.
-
Confirm behavior after configuration
- After configuring integrations for each organization, test by having users from different organizations report the same simulated or test message and verify that each report is recorded in the organization that matches the reporter’s assignment.
Conclusion Configure the Report Button separately in each Nimblr organization portal and ensure users are correctly assigned to their organizations. Reports will be routed and recorded in the Nimblr organization that matches the reporting user. Multiple tenant support for a single Report Button is not available.
