Simulations

Simulations are automatically sent to active users at random times. The frequencies provided below represent average values applied to the majority of users, but they may vary slightly based on the user's prior actions and participation in courses, aiming to test and optimize the outcomes of the training program. Read more details on simulation frequency here.

Organizations on trial

  • 7 simulations / month

Standard organizations

  • 2 simulations / month

*Other settings can apply to organizations and groups with specific adaptations.

Sending rules

  • Simulations are sent at a random day and time for each user to avoid parallel simulations to users in the same organization.
  • if courses are active: Simulations will start to be sent 48 hours after the first course (introduction course) was sent. (note randomization rule below)
  • if courses are inactive: Simulations will start to be sent immediately. (note randomization rule below)
  • If a user is activated in the middle of a month the amount of simulations will be calculated depending on the remaining amount of days in the current month.

Sending limitations

  • Start time for simulations: 04:00
  • Stop time for simulations: 21:00
  • Simulations are not sent on weekends

*These are standard values that can change from time to time

Requirements for sending

  • Organization is set to “allow sending” (this setting is only available for partners/resellers)
  • Group has simulation status active
  • User have the status “Active”

Course invitations

Course invitations and reminders are automatically sent to active users. The frequencies provided below represent average values applied to the majority of users, but they may vary slightly based on the user's prior actions and participation in courses, aiming to optimize the outcomes of the training program. Read more about the course frequency here.

Organizations on trial

  • 1 course invitation every 4th day (counting holidays and weekends)
  • 1 course reminder every day (counting holidays and weekends)

Standard organizations

  • 1 course every 30th day (counting holidays and weekends)
  • 1 course reminder every 7th day (counting holidays and weekends)

Sending rules

  • The first course (introduction course) is sent within 2 hours after activating a user.
  • The user must have successfully completed the previous course to which they were invited.

Sending limitations

  • Start time for simulations: 04:00
  • Stop time for simulations: 21:00
  • Course invitations are not sent on weekends

Zero-Day-Classes invitations

Nimblr’s Zero-Day Classes are a dynamic training initiative designed to address emerging security threats promptly. These classes are triggered when Nimblr identifies new threats that require immediate awareness and training. The system evaluates the threat against various parameters, such as the user's profile, organizational group settings, and other contextual factors, to determine who should receive the training.

Invitations to Zero-Day Classes are sent only to active users within affected organizations. These classes are prioritized over regular training courses due to their time-sensitive nature. Unlike standard courses, Zero-Day Classes have a limited lifecycle: reminders are sent periodically until the class is either completed or the reminder window closes. Once inactive, the class is no longer available for users to access.

Inactive users at the time of the Zero-Day Class invitation do not receive the class, ensuring the training is targeted and relevant to those actively engaged in the platform.

Frequency
The frequency of Zero-Day Classes cannot be predetermined, as their issuance depends on the emergence of new threats and their relevance to specific organizations. These classes are triggered dynamically based on real-time threat analysis, ensuring that training is timely and aligned with current risks.
