Preparing your Users

Get the users ready for Nimblr Security Awareness Training

How should you prepare employees before activating Nimblr training?

Send an internal notification email from a manager one to two days before activating users. This gives employees advance notice so they recognize and trust the Nimblr course invitation when it arrives.

Which address do Nimblr course invitation emails come from?

Invitations come from one of these addresses:

Not sure which one you have? Log in to the Nimblr portal, preview the invitation and check the From address:

  1. In the left menu, under People, click Groups.
  2. Click the group’s name or the pencil icon next to it.
  3. In the group settings, select Training invitation.
  4. Click Preview.

The preview opens on screen and no email is sent. Still not sure? Ask your Nimblr contact.

What should the internal notification email include?

  • The sender’s address and domain, so employees know exactly what to look for

  • A short summary of what the invitation says and what the training involves

  • A screenshot of the invitation from the preview, if possible

  • Any updates to your organization’s IT policy

  • Contact details for internal questions or concerns

Hello,

In the next few days, we will be rolling out an IT security training program for all employees.

While our technical safeguards provide an important layer of protection, building awareness of how threats work gives each of us the ability to make better decisions and reduce risk in our daily work.

Soon, you will receive an invitation by email from our partner, Nimblr, sent from [sender address]. It leads to an introductory training session that takes just a few minutes to complete and provides further details about the program and what to anticipate.

If you have any questions, contact [name / team / address].

Thank you for your commitment to enhancing the IT security of our organization!

Warm regards,
[Name, title]

What if users don’t receive the invitation?

Course invitations are properly authenticated, so most organizations don’t need to allowlist them. If your email filtering is holding them back, allowlist the sender domain or domains you expect:

  • nimblr.net or awrns.net: allowlist both nimblr.net and awrns.net.
  • A custom address: allowlist your custom sender domain. If you are unsure of the exact domain or need platform-specific steps, contact your Nimblr representative for confirmation.

Microsoft Exchange Online customers can follow Whitelist Course Invitations in Exchange Online.

Google Workspace customers can create a default routing rule or an inbound gateway entry for the relevant sender domain. For step-by-step guidance, contact your Nimblr representative or submit a support ticket.

If you have any further questions, feedback or requests, submit a ticket or email us at support@nimblrsecurity.com.
